Opel Insignia a new crossover SUV

17/06/2011

General Motors announced its plans to produce a new series of cars that will feature off-road capability and is based off the highly successful Opel Insignia. Preliminary models will be available in the auto market in 2015

The main idea is a new crossover SUV that will become a model sold worldwide on release. Jeep Insignia claims it will not be competing with their  premium brands like BMW or Mercedes Benz.

It is expected that the main opponent of the Opel Insignia is the French Citroen DS5 Jeep. At present it is too early to predict exactly what would be the technical parameters of the new German SUV, although the media has gone into much speculation on the topic already.

According to preliminary data, the new Opel cars will have seven seats and a gear crossover. Regarding the appearance of the new series, it is very possible Opel Jeep SUVs will use a lot of auto parts from the new generation Zafira.

For all owners of Opel SUVs, we offer brand new parts and maintained second hand parts at reasonable prices and with a guarantee of quality.

Volvo with sales growth in Asia and South America

13/06/2011

Volvo - the second largest producer of trucks , boasts sales growth for the first time in the last two years. The increase in the number of trucks sold was most noticeable in Asia and South America and is happening for the first time since 2009. Unfortunately, the Swedish furniture company continues to lose ground to European and North American market for trucks.

According to most industry analysts, Volvo can serve as a benchmark for the state not only in the automotive market, but also the economy. During the month of February 2011, Volvo demonstrated sales growth of 11% compared to the same month of the year 2010. It turned out, however, that it is only thanks to markets in developing countries such as Brazil, India and China. The overall growth in sales of trucks in Asia is 71% and in South America - a record 84 percent.

Bad news for the Swedish manufacturer of cars and trucks is the poor performance of the company's strongest markets. Most problematic for the Volvo brand is the European market, where sales have fallen by as much as 27 percent last year. In North America, the decline is only 1%, but the information is still disappointing because the Swedes hoped to begin to restore their position in this market.

Volvo official spokesman said it is too early to celebrate, as the company has more problems awaiting their resolution. Despite the growth in sales of trucks on both continents, they are still at their lowest level in 10 years.

Volvo announced that during the month of February 2011 they nearly sold 12,000 trucks and buses, but despite the relatively good figures, the company continued to make losses over the past 15 months.

2011 will be a successful year for Audi

11/06/2011

Sales of cars with the Audi brand increased by 19.5% during the month of May 2011 compared to May 2010.

Analysts said the increase in sales is mainly due to record high sales in China. As the most populous country in the world only in May 2011 sold 44.6% more cars manufacturer Audi compared to the same month of 2010

For the last month the famous automobile concern in China has sold a total of over 25,000 vehicles, is responsible for approximately 20% of the sales of the Italian car globally.

Audi marketing boss, Peter Schwarzenbauer, told the media that the company has increased its capacity to produce cars for the Chinese population of 300 000 cars, which the Italians want to meet the growing interest of customers to the Audi brand.

China is known as the largest auto market in the world, but it is forecast to decline in sales in 2011, which will be a result of many requirements for registration of a new vehicle and continuously rising fuel prices.

In January-May 2011 the Italian brand sales worldwide increased as follows: 27.8% in China, 24.4% in Russia, 24.7% in France, etc.

11/06/2011

The Americans from Ford released information that they intend to invest $100 million for the development of modern technology that will reduce the noise level in all cars of the company.

The innovative project will aim to reduce wind noise decibels of the interior of the Ford. According to preliminary information, such equipment is soon to be in use at 17 automobile plants in the world, as announced by Autonews.com.

The modern system consists of a special camera, which aims to monitor the degree of adhesion of the car door for the frame and bodywork. If the door is not within the index range, the doors will be reinstalled to fully comply with the new technical requirements of Ford.

The system will check the adhesion of the doors to the car body, not only during their installation, but after application of paint on parts of the car.

According to Ron Ketelhet, who is chief engineer of the auto giant, ultramodern control technology will be much more refined and will detect flaws or defects that are invisible to the naked eye.
