The Toyota Yaris Hybrid made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in mid 2012. The car combines ingenious design and urban agility of the Yaris model range with the unique driving experience and efficiency of the full hybrid powertrain of the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive. The new Toyota Yaris Hybrid launch marks a new start for the company and the auto industry behind it.

The Yaris hybrid drive features a 1.5-litre VVT-i petrol engine, electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission which develops 100PS (98hp/73kW). Fuel consumption is 3.5 litres/100 km, and a CO2 emissions of 79g/km. The Yaris Hybrid is the most fuel efficient vehicle with a combustion engine currently on the German market.

The middle trim line "Life" is available for 17,900 eruos, and adds Toyota Touch multi-media audio system with 6.1-inch color touch screen, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth kit, ECO-Drive monitor, rear-view camera, auxiliary input and a USB port with iPod control. It also includes leather steering wheel and shift knob, a two-way adjustable luggage compartment floor and rear LED lights.

The entry-level Yaris Hybrid comes standard with central locking, electric front windows, dual-zone climate control,  power mirrors, a height-adjustable driver seat, and a height and reach-adjustable steering wheel. Also standard is electronic stability control, LED daytime running lights and seven air-bags including a knee air-bag for the driver.

The top of the range "Club" trim level includes fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheel option, heated mirrors, engine start/stop, roof spoiler, electric rear windows, glove compartment with cooling function and a height adjustment for the front passenger seat.
