Like all other models of AMG, the Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe will feature an aggressive sporty look. Some exterior improvements to the coupe will include the AMG front bumper, AMG grille with chrome elements, a specific AMG bonnet, AMG LED daytime running lights, side skirts and rear bumper with a diffuser. The sporting character will be enhanced with the AMG sports exhaust system with two twin oval chrome tailpipes.

The AMG Will feature modified sports suspension that will have the option to decline to 40 mm. Other key styling aspects are the long bonnet, steeply raked windscreen and a specially designed roof. The car will be have new AMG light-alloy wheels with five double spokes, painted in titanium gray with a gloss finish.

For the interior, AMG will offer AMG door sills, AMG sports seats, AMG steering wheel in leather with mounted shift paddles and AMG management tools. The interior is upholstered with leather combination Artico or optional leather Designo. There will be an electronic rotary switch for switching between the four driving modes.

The specially shaped AMG steering wheel was adopted previously by the CLS 63 AMG. Its shape is flattened at the top and bottom. The design includes metal wheel trims and high quality perforated leather. The car also features glossy black trim on the panel of the dashboard, console and doors.

Rotary control for selecting the C, S, S + M transmission modes and RACE START is situated on the center console. Like the sedan, the C63 AMG Coupe will use the same 6.2-litre V8 engine with a total output of 457 horsepower. Customers can choose a package upgrade that will increase the total output to 487 horsepower.

The C63 AMG Coupe will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and 4.4 seconds with the AMG performance package. The engine will be combined with the new AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission that offers three different modes: "S" (Sport), "C" (Comfort) and "M" (Manual). The luxury sports car will be presented to the European market in July at a starting price of € 72,590 or € 77,231 for the "Edition 1".

The U.S. prices will be announced at a later date. The biggest competitor for Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe will be the BMW M3 Coupe.
