Land Rover will introduce the Range Rover Evoque Convertible at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. The Evoque coupé concept will explore the first potential premium convertible in the world SUV. This bold design is based on the worldwide success of the Evoque, and continues the Land Rover tradition  of creating new marketing ideas.

The concept is set to assess the reaction of Land Rover customers and to assess the potential of the project being a success in the world market of SUV's. The concept was developed by Land Rover design director, Gerry McGovern, and his team. This performance vehicle is not a traditional SUV design.

The new Evoque retains the unique and distinctive shape of it's predecessor. The soft roof convertible concept is based on the Range Rover Evoque Coupe's design. The roof is fully retractable and includes roll-over protection [ROPS].

The car has been designed in the image of the Land Rover, retaining key features, including the controls for all-terrain capabilities. The Evoque's dramatically distinctive shape has been retained, and the new body style of the convertible is achieved with minimal changes in overall weight.

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept is filled with a lot of brand new technology. The new concept has unique 21-inch wheels. The Evoque has been on sale for six months and is widely recognised as a car with international success with strong sales performances in over 170 global markets and achieving excellent customer satisfaction with a very good resale value.

The Evoque Convertible Concept is a new twist on Evoque line, exploring the potential for further expansion by giving existing customers more choice, while at the same time seek a whole new customer base.
