The Ford B-MAX is setting new standards for fuel efficiency in the compact MAV class with the latest petrol and diesel propulsion systems featuring low CO2 ECOnetic technology. The petrol model is governed by a three-cylinder 1.0-liter petrol EcoBoost engine, with the option of either 108 and 118 horsepower versions. It comes equipped with the Ford Auto-Start-Stop system in the standard model with a 118 horsepower EcoBoost engine and achieves class-leading reduced CO2 emissions.
Other options are the petrol engine with 89 hp, the 1.4-liter Duratec with 104 hp or the 1.6-liter Duratec engine which is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and a dual clutch. The B-MAX is available with a choice of two Duratorq TDCi engines, each of which offers best in class fuel efficiency. The 1.6-liter engine with 94 hp ensures CO2 emissions of 104g/km and fuel consumption of 4.0l per 100km. The 1.5-liter diesel engine with a power output of 74 hp which first appeared in the European Ford product range.
