The Citroen C1 has been in production since 2005. There is a choice of a 1.4-liter diesel engine or 1.0-liter gasoline engine. The car is pretty good and easy to drive around town. Both petrol and diesel Citroen C1 cars have a five-speed gearbox. Moreover, both engines offer great fuel economy. For those looking for the best performance, though, the 1.0-liter petrol engine is a better option.

The Citroen C1 is a very solid ride. In fact, the suspension is too hard for a car that will primarily be driven around town. Wind noise is present, but it does not make you feel uncomfortable. The small motors are also slightly noisy, but it makes this type of car attractive and sporty. The sound of the exhaust system is felt more in motion with higher speeds on the highway.

The Citroen C1 is offered for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, resale value of this car will be low. Given that the C1 has been developed by Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107 mechanics, it should be very reliable. The body of C1 is well developed. It is attractive, aside from some of the interior plastic components that look a little like cheap manufactured materials. There is also plenty of space in the cab.

The steering wheel is adjustable only in height, but it is easy to find a comfortable driving position. Forward visibility is good but the rear visibility is slightly reduced by the column of the neck. Four adults can easily fit into a Citroen C1. Unfortunately, the trunk is very small. The only way to bring extra luggage is to fold the rear seats. The standard safety equipment has two front airbags, while the higher models come equipped with two side airbags.

The Citroen C1 includes intelligent anti-lock brakes, designed to keep the car stable when you press the brake pedal. Air conditioning is available as an option for Rhythm. Production of the C1 is still ongoing.
