The new version of the compact five-door model is truly impressive with sporty driving dynamics, unique handling qualities and innovative elegance. In the spring of 2012, the sporty "M" package of the BMW 1-Series will be made available.
High quality components such as "M" sports suspension lowers the car by 10 mm with precision damper settings and significantly improved stabilizer bars, which will highlight the active driving character of this BMW. The wheelbase is longer than the previous model, which will provide greater stability.
The "M" Sports brake is optionally available as an exclusive feature of the sport "M" package, excluding for the BMW 125i and 125d models. The braking system consists of a lightweight aluminium multi-piston calipers, painted a metallic dark blue colour and bearing the BMW M logo.
This will further enhance the driving dynamics of the compact five-door. Another unique element of the package are 17 or 18 inch "M" alloy wheels. The "M" aerodynamic package includes multiple components for the front, side and back of the body of the new BMW.
The vehicle has an unmistakable, sporty appearance. Inside the vehicle, there will be added aluminium components with the "M" logo, "M" leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and the "M" shifter, which adds a sporty and elegant feel.
The driver and passenger sport seats are made of Hexagon Anthracite fabric / Alcantara with contrasting seams in Royal Blue. In addition, the dashboard has unique design accents and a sporty look.
