BMW today revealed the first images and details of the new updated version of the 2013 BMW X6 Coupe, which will be shown in the U.S. this spring. The Sports Activity Coupe BMW offers a unique combination of sporty dynamics, versatility and unmatched character. The updated design and innovative features further enhance the profile of the new BMW X6, as a distinctive model in the premium segment vehicle with drive wheels.
Its current popularity is due to the highly expressive design, which combines the athletic and elegant lines of the body with a unique character of the BMW X models. The new version will be available with two powerful engines with perfected technology- BMW TwinPower Turbo and xDrive.
The BMW X6 continues to offer Dynamic Performance Control, which gives the Sports Activity Coupe unparalleled agility for a vehicle in this class. Since the early market launch, 150,000 Sports Activity wardrobes have sold worldwide in the last three years with over 20,000 sales in the United States. This far exceeded the original expectations.

The modified form of the new BMW X6 features a unique style. The new vehicle is wider and the angle of the grille under the mask is flush with the bottom, thereby creating an additional horizontal line which highlights the masculine style of the new BMW X6.
As an alternative to standard Xenon lamps, the new BMW X6 is the first vehicle in its class that is available with adaptive LED headlights. Their bright white light ensures optimum visibility, while their high-quality appearance represents a new interpretation of the brand.
The three-dimensional shape of the adaptive LED headlights are strikingly stable in both the top and the bottom. The new horizontally aligned design of the rear LED lights also emphasize the vehicle's width.
Customers of the new BMW X6 will be able to choose between several metallic colors. Standard equipment of the new BMW X6 also includes new 19-inch alloy wheels for the X6 xDrive 50i. The standard leather upholstery will now be available in Vermilion Red. Also available is a new Nappa leather with ivory.
The new BMW X6 comes standard as a four-seat model. Three rear seats are available as an option. The volume of the luggage compartment of the Sports Activity Coupe is 570 liters and can be increased to about 1,450 litres by folding the rear seats. The BMW X6 will again be offered in two models- The X6 xDrive50i with a 4.4-litre engine and 400 horsepower or the X6 xDrive 35i that produces 300 horsepower.
Both versions have an 8-speed automatic transmission with BMW's unique blend of responsiveness and efficiency.
