Head of an internal combustion engine

The head of the internal combustion engine is part of the structure and mechanics of a vehicle. The engine is constructed of a few basic parts. The central part is called the engine block. In the block of the internal combustion engine, cylinders are located where the pistons are. Cylinder engines require sealing at the top of the engine. This is done by sealing the cylinder head and its gasket.

Materials which make the cylinder head can be aluminum mixed with various metal alloys. All valves are installed in the engine head. The head and the engine block has additional channels through which coolant goes to the radiator of the car.

The head and engine block produce a constant heat flux. Coolant that passes through it prevents overheating. Two-stroke engines are the simplest, as they have no valves in the cylinder head. It is usually very easy to know if there is a problem with the head of the internal combustion engine.

Some of these factors are low compression that you will feel if the vehicle starts to lose power. Also, damage to the cylinder head can cause a lot of smoke to come from the exhaust system, which means that the car is burning a large amount of motor oil that penetrates the head gasket.

We should mention now that at our site, findspares.co.za, you can buy parts for the head of your 4x4, both new and second hand. If you cannot afford a new engine head, you can always send a message out to find a second hand head, which is carefully removed from the vehicle.
